ABP and px Group launch plans for Port of Barry Clean Growth Hub
Associated British Ports and px Group have announced the launch of a Clean Growth Hub at ABP’s Port of Barry in South Wales, inviting expressions of interest from businesses looking to benefit from low-carbon infrastructure. The partnership seeks to develop over 100 acres of land into a leading location for manufacturers and producers involved in the energy transition, offering shared infrastructure and expertise.
The Clean Growth Hub aims to support industries such as battery materials manufacturing, rare earth metal processing, green industries, and hydrogen production, aligning with the South Wales Industrial Cluster plan. This project builds on the successful collaboration between ABP and px Group at the Saltend Chemicals Park on the Humber, where significant investment and industrial growth have been achieved.
