Fort Vale welcomes first customer on site in over a year

Fort Vale Engineering recently welcomed its first customer on site for over 12 months and took the opportunity to demonstrate a new valve.

In a post on LinkedIn, the company says it has been developing a new 2″BSP pressure/vacuum relief valve, as an addition to its Twinact range, primarily for use on IBC containers.

The main reason for the meeting was to carry out some flow testing and allow the customer to witness the developments and testing process in person.

The company tested a competitor valve alongside the new Fort Vale valve and benchmarked the performance.

The results of the testing were positive with the company stating: “The difference in performance between the valves was significant, with the flow rates achieved through the Fort Vale valve being over five times bigger than that of the competition.”
