Merkland Tank Announce Expansion and Recruitment Drive with Opening of a New Depot


Industrial tank cleaning and maintenance specialists, Merkland Tank, is pleased to announce the opening of a new depot in Rosyth, Fife as part of their ongoing expansion.

The new depot, due to open later this month, will add further capacity to Merkland’s existing operations, which for over 100 years, have been based out of Glasgow. The company sees the Rosyth expansion as a ‘significant opportunity’ to support their future growth plans and provide improved geographical coverage and enhanced service levels to customers across Scotland and the North of England.

The new depot will be based at Rosyth Dockyard, home to one of the largest waterside manufacturing and repair facilities in the UK. It will create a number of new job opportunities in the local area as Merkland Tank recruits across a variety of roles including High Pressure Water Jetting Technicians, Tanker Drivers, Emergency Rescue Teams and Confined Space Tank Cleaning Operatives.
