Since launching its contactless protocol in June 2020, Oiltanking has been able to make great progress in its journey to implement completely contact-free ship operations and protection for all shore personnel, including surveyors. 

By using digital solutions and driving contactless operations in its terminals, Oiltanking has been able to enhance operational efficiency, and improve health & safety for its employees at the same time, especially in terms of minimising COVID-19 infection rates and protecting personnel. 

The company is moving away from the conventional practice of meeting on a vessel with its terminals’ use of digital documentation and communication tools to facilitate seamless operations and the exchange of all official documents.
