Stolt-Nielsen leadership visits new Kaohsiung Terminal, strengthening regional operations
Stolt-Nielsen’s chairman Niels G. Stolt-Nielsen and CEO Dr. Udo Lange recently visited Taiwan to review progress at the Stolthaven Revivegen Kaohsiung Terminal Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Stolt-Nielsen and Revivegen Co. Ltd. They were joined by Guy Bessant, president of Stolthaven Terminals, for the visit.
The leadership team toured the construction site of the new terminal, which is strategically located in Kaohsiung Port. They also greeted the officers and crew of the Stolt Efficiency, berthed at the Kaohsiung Intercontinental Container Terminal Phase II jetty, which will support SHRVK operations in the future. During their time in Kaohsiung, the team met with Mr. Chang, vice president of the Kaohsiung Port Authority, for a tour of the port, and visited Stolt Tank Container’s cleaning depot, operational since 1990.
SHRVK’s warehouse facility began operations in March, and its storage facility, with an initial capacity of 61,200m³, is scheduled to become operational next year. The terminal is positioned to provide specialist warehouse and distribution services for local and international customers, connecting Taiwan with the broader Asia-Pacific region.
The terminal’s integration with Stolt Tankers and Stolt Tank Containers highlights its ability to deliver seamless ship-to-shore services, reinforcing its role as a vital hub in Stolt-Nielsen’s global operations.
