Leschaco has announced the appointment of Emile Goossens as chief financial officer (CFO), effective April 1, 2026. He succeeds Interim CFO Lutz Weber, who completed his mandate at the end of 2025 after playing a key role in supporting the company during a significant phase of transformation.

Emile Goossens brings more than 30 years of international experience in the logistics sector. Most recently, he served as CFO for Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg at DB Schenker, where he led a finance organisation of 30 professionals across 30 locations, supporting more than 3,400 employees. His background combines deep financial expertise with broad general management experience, including a nine-month assignment as Interim CEO of DB Schenker Benelux.

Over the course of his career, Goossens has successfully delivered complex transformation initiatives, integrated finance functions into shared-service structures, and implemented modern reporting and IT systems. He is recognized for sustainably improving financial performance through disciplined financial management, transparent governance, and close collaboration with operational teams. His leadership style, defined by integrity, clarity, and a strong people focus, closely aligns with Leschaco’s values and long-term objectives.
