New Van Hool tank containers mark major expansion in global bulk logistics fleet
A new milestone has been reached in the expansion of a specialised tank container fleet with the successful inspection and approval of the first new 40ft pressurised Van Hool tank containers. The newly approved units form part of a broader fleet expansion programme aimed at strengthening global bulk logistics operations.
The investment reflects continued growth in the bulk transport sector, with a strong emphasis placed on operational safety and efficiency during the development of the new equipment. The tank containers have been fitted with a ground-operated airline system and integrated handrails, features designed to improve safety standards for drivers and operators while streamlining day-to-day handling procedures.
The expanded fleet will be used for the transportation of chemicals, minerals and a range of other non-food bulk products, supporting international logistics requirements across multiple industries.
The milestone was described as a significant achievement made possible through collaboration between project teams and industry partners involved in the development and rollout of the new containers.
