KOGAS to construct new LNG terminal by 2025
KOGAS (Korea Gas Corp.) the state-run Korean gas company has revealed that it plans to build a new LNG facility in South Korea by 2025, according to the Yonhap News Agency.
The company, which is the second largest purchaser of LNG in the world, plans to build 10 20-kiloliter LNG storage tanks in Dangjin, along with associated infrastructure such as offloading and re-gasification facilities.
KOGAS operates four LNG facilities in South Korea already.
