Adler and Allan expands NDT testing team

Adler and Allan has announced it has expanded its fuel and energy capability by growing its non-destructive testing (NDT) team, “offering customers a high level of experience and technical knowledge of tank inspection and assessment”, it said in a statement.

Andrew Clarke, Director, Forecourt Division at Adler and Allan, said: “The appointments support the growth of our fuel and energy business, allowing us to deliver a full turnkey solution to clients. We can perform the testing on customers’ tanks as well as suggest and undertake any remediation work required. We provide solutions to fuel problems, keeping systems safe, functional, compliant, resilient and sustainable.”

Adler and Allan said the NDT testing and analysis methods will be used for storage tanks pipeline and well inspection, “offering customers the most accurate and precise inspection available”.

The environmental risk reduction specialists added that the service identifies degradation, corrosion, weakness, cracking and welding defects before damage occurs, including leading edge magnetic flux leakage techniques and innovations for remote access to ‘difficult reach’ areas.

Adler and Allan is British NDT Institute PCN Level 2 qualified and has full EEMUA and API recognition.

Justin Burton, NDT Manager, added: “Adler and Allan’s inspection department provides an integrated approach to cost-effective, optimised inspection solutions that improve the safety, environmental and operating performance of storage vessels and piping assets, while ensuring they meet regulatory requirements.”

Adler and Allan operates a specialist inspection team that concentrates on corrosion detection, sizing and servicing the storage tank and pipeline market within the petro-chemical and tank storage industries.

Elsewhere, Adler and Allan recently acquired LCM Environmental Ltd.’s Fuel Facility Management division, which means it is now Britain’s biggest fuel management and quality provider.
