ECTA responsible care charter 2030

ECTA responsible care charter 2030

The principles of Responsible Care as defined for global use by the Chemical Industry in general, and more specifically by Cefic for Europe as referred to in the Cefic-ECTA Responsible Care Agreement, form the basis of ECTA’s Responsible Care Programme. Since the implementation of Responsible Care by ECTA in 2009 the basic principles still apply but the world around us continues to change and evolve. For that reason, ECTA’s board of directors has decided that specific areas of attention in the programme need to be redefined or to be made more specific. This amended programme is called “ECTA Responsible Care 2030”.

The key focus areas for expanded definition are:

  • The limitation of waste.
  • The limitation of emissions.
  • The limitation of injury incidents.
  • Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
