Eltronic FuelTech and CSTC Shanghai form a strategic partnership by signing a memorandum of understanding agreement


Eltronic FuelTech and China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd., a prominent player in the Chinese maritime industry, have solidified their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement underscores the strong partnership between the two companies and reaffirms their shared commitment to advancing sustainable maritime technologies.

The signing ceremony, held in Shanghai on March 5,  2024, marked a significant milestone in the partnership between Eltronic FuelTech and CSTC Shanghai. Key representatives, including Mr. Chen Hai Bin, deputy GM of CSTC, and the chairman of CSTC, Mr. Mao Ying Jian, attended the event. Representing Eltronic FuelTech were global sales director, Nicolai Weise, and regional sales director, Peter Xu.

Global sales director, Nicolai Weise, and deputy GM of CSTC, Mr. Chen Hai Bin, signed the historic agreement. Reflecting on the future collaboration, Nicolai stated:

CSTC Shanghai to Drive Adoption of Eltronic FuelTech’s Sustainable Maritime Solutions
Under the terms of the MoU agreement, CSTC Shanghai will play a crucial role in promoting Eltronic FuelTech’s high- and low-pressure equipment units for dual fuel engines, including the Gas Valve Train, the Fuel Valve Train, and the Low-flashpoint Fuel Supply System for methanol fuel operations.

The key aspect of this collaboration lies in targeted promotion within state-owned shipyards, with a specific focus on raising awareness and fostering adoption within the CSSC group. This strategic initiative aims to maximise the impact of sustainable maritime solutions, actively contributing to the industry’s transition towards greener practices.
