IOCL award Toyo refinery plant project


Toyo Engineering India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyo Engineering Corporation (Toyo-Japan), has been awarded a contract by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of a 3.6 MMTPA Vacuum Gas Oil Hydrotreater (VGO-HDT) Unit at Panipat in the state of Haryana in India.

IOCL is the largest public sector undertaking governed by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (Government of India), and plans to expand its existing refinery from 15 MMTPA to 25 MMTPA. The total investment in this expansion project is over 400 billion yen. This VGO-HDT is scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2024.

Toyo-India is currently implementing projects at the Paradip and Barauni Refineries for IOCL. In India, which has a vast population and a huge middle-class population that continues to grow, Toyo is committed to contributing to the economic development of the country.
