Joep Aerts appointed president of European Chemical Transport Association
The European Chemical Transport Association (ECTA) has announced the appointment of Joep Aerts of Royal Den Hartogh Logistics as the new president of ECTA.
ECTA’s mission is to set standards for the transport and logistics of chemical goods in Europe, with a focus on improving efficiency, safety and security, as well as the environmental and social impacts of the industry.
Building on Industry Experience
In his new role, Aerts will continue to contribute to the development of the European chemical transport sector, building on his experience as vice-president of Digitalisation within ECTA. His appointment reflects a strong commitment to collaboration, safety and innovation across the industry.
