GEODIS extends long-term partnership with Beta Utensili in Italy

Global transport and logistics leader GEODIS has announced the renewal of its partnership with Beta Utensili, the Italian manufacturer of professional tools and equipment. The agreement extends a collaboration that dates back to 2014, reinforcing GEODIS’ position as a strategic logistics partner supporting Beta Utensili’s international operations.

A Decade of Growing Collaboration

Under the renewed agreement, GEODIS will continue to provide comprehensive contract logistics services from its Massalengo facility in Italy, including storage, handling, and value-added activities such as labelling and kitting. The site has been fully tailored to meet Beta Utensili’s evolving product portfolio and complex operational requirements, and even customised to reflect the customer’s brand identity, serving as a showcase for partners and visitors.

The scale of the operation has grown considerably over the years. Warehouse space at the Massalengo facility expanded from 14,000 square metres in 2021 to 32,000 square metres in 2026, reflecting the increasing demands of the partnership. In 2025 alone, the facility managed approximately 90,000 orders and more than 45,000 SKUs.

Flexibility at the Core

Throughout the partnership, GEODIS teams have maintained high service levels while managing seasonal peaks and fluctuations in demand — a critical capability for a manufacturer operating across global markets.

Sandro Cappiello, managing director of GEODIS for contract logistics activities in Italy, highlighted the partnership’s customer-focused foundation. “This renewed agreement reflects our ability to adapt logistics solutions to our customer’s evolving needs,” he said. “By combining operational expertise with a flexible and customer-focused approach, we continue to support Beta Utensili in optimising its supply chain and driving its growth.”

Looking Ahead

The renewed partnership comes at a time of continued expansion for Beta Utensili, which is broadening its product range and integrating new brands into its portfolio. GEODIS says its expertise in delivering scalable logistics operations positions it well to support that growth in the years ahead.
