Schenk Tanktransport, recognised as one of the leading tank transport companies in Northwest Europe, has announced its acquisition of Suttons Tankers, a UK-based road tanker logistics provider. This strategic move is expected to significantly enhance Schenk’s European presence and strengthen its service offerings.

The acquisition will lead to a nearly 50 percent increase in Schenk’s revenues and workforce, bringing totals to €440 million and 2,600 employees, respectively. The company operates a fleet of over 1,450 tractor units, 1,300 owned trailers, and 1,000 tank containers.

In recent years, Argos Wityu has played a crucial role in supporting Schenk through a successful transition of shareholders and management for this long-established family-owned Dutch company. The focus has now shifted toward fostering further topline growth, particularly through an international buy-and-build strategy.
