UNITI expo 2026 sets new benchmarks

After three successful days, UNITI expo 2026 concluded with record-breaking results across all key metrics. Expanding to 45,000 m² for the first time, the exhibition hosted 604 exhibitors from 43 countries, showcasing innovations, products and technologies to more than 20,500 attendees from 114 countries. The figures highlighted the growing importance of the event despite ongoing market challenges. Held from 19–21 May 2026 in Stuttgart, the exhibition brought together global industry leaders and decision-makers from the service station and car wash sectors, reinforcing its status as Europe’s leading trade fair and a major international industry platform.

According to Elmar Kühn, managing director of UNITI Services GmbH and organiser of the trade fair, the atmosphere throughout the event matched the impressive attendance figures. He noted that the energy across all exhibition halls reflected an industry collectively setting new benchmarks.

The event served as a major platform for innovation, networking and knowledge exchange. Activity remained high throughout all themed areas, including Technology; Payment & Logistics; Car Wash & Car Care; Oil Companies & Fuel Retailers; and Shop & Convenience. Industry decision-makers, innovation leaders and experts used the opportunity to establish new connections and discuss emerging trends.

A key attraction was the Future Mobility Lounge in Hall 1, where approximately 50 exhibitors presented innovations and technologies focused on alternative fuels. Ben Boroewitsch, CEO of com-a-tec GmbH and co-organiser of the trade fair, said the decision to expand the exhibition area for the Future Mobility Lounge to 2,000 m² had proven successful. He also highlighted the introduction of a dedicated dialogue forum alongside the event’s three established forums. More than 80 expert presentations were delivered during the exhibition, attracting over 2,800 attendees and setting new records for the conference programme.

Visitors, exhibitors and organisers described the 2026 edition as a major success, supported by a strong international partner network. More than 100 association, media, event and cooperation partners contributed to what organisers described as one of the most concentrated showcases of innovation in the industry, both in Europe and globally.

Organisers also released a highlights video for those unable to attend in Stuttgart, while returning visitors were given the opportunity to revisit key moments from the three-day exhibition. Elmar Kühn stated that organisers were pleased to welcome the industry’s leading companies and stakeholders to the event and expressed optimism about the next edition. The seventh UNITI expo is scheduled to take place from 16–18 May 2028.
